HUE curve - how???

Hello,

For days i've been trying to find out how on earth one is supposed to use hue curve fx?

Let's say i create a scene, one single 12x4 Starville Outdoor Led Par, assign it a red color, put the dimmer up.
Now, I go to FX and choose sine curve to affect HUE and press "Generate".
It creates a new scene with one single event which in no way does anything close to what expected.

Devs, if this require a different workflow, please show what is this workflow, what are the steps. Intuitive way doesn't apply here - simply not working.

Purchasing an equipment for 349EUR and not able to achieve this simple thing is kind of disappointing!
