Minimise main window but keep floating show mode

Post by markcooper »

Hi

I am using windows 10 in tablet mode with a touchscreen and want show mode visible on par of the screen but not the main window (my audio mixer is on the other part of the screen) Every time I push minimise it minimises everything, including the show mode. Does anyone know a way to do this?

Thanks
Mark

Hey,

Maximise the showmode over the main window.

Hi

Thanks for the reply

I only want the show mode to appear on a small part of the monitor with another app on the rest of the screen. I f I set it up like this, when I click on the small show mode area, it opens up the main window too. Is there any way round this?

Hello,

No, sorry. It's really just about resizing both Show mode and main window to fit the small zone you want to cover, and placing both into this small zone. Show mode will stay on top of the main window.

Best regards,

This is a really show stopper with this piece of software for me. Unless I am doing something wrong, it has been designed so the main window will not resize below a certain point, which is about 2/3 of a standard 1080 monitor. This means nothing else can effectively be used on the screen at the same time.
