A quand Daslight4 pour linux

Bonsoir à tous,

J'ai testé pour vous Daslight sur Linux, via Wine. Et bien figurez-vous que ça marche plutôt bien, voir c'est plus rapide que sur windows. Même certains bug de la scanLibrary ou visualisateur 3D, ne se retrouve pas avec Wine.
Seul incompatibilité, Hardware Manager ne sait pas où trouver l'interface DMX (avec Wine je comprends qu'il ai du mal). Alors que Linux le trouve et le reconnaît.
D'ailleurs la page de présentation de NicolaudieGroup le précise "Our usb to dmx interfaces are compatible with Mac OS X, Windows and Linux"... dommage qu'il manque la précision : but not our software.

Alors ma question : à quand la compatibilité de Daslight sous linux ?
Moi je vous encourage à avancer, car le chemin n'est pas long

Currently there are no plans for a Linux version of Dalsight 4. Whilst there has been some interest in this platform, it has only been a handful, and not enough to warrant the development and maintenance costs of having another version of Daslight 4 which is nearly 4 years old now.

We may look at a future release of Daslight (such as Daslight 5) being available for Linux platforms though.

The Nicolaudie Group website references PC, Mac & Linux, as some of our sister software does work on Linux, however under the Daslight 4 blurb we only reference PC & Mac.

It's a shame that in 2021 this software is not compatible with Linux!
