Hi, if you patch "scanners" for instance, into universe 1, and add a second universe for another room in the building, patched with more of the same "scanners", I noticed that all the scanners from both universes show up on the placement viewing section (outlined in red) - You can see how this is confusing. Lights are in different rooms, but placed on the same " desktop layout". Can the views be separated or a universe layout be hidden from the other universe? Am I missing a setting?
In Lumidesk, it's sister software, you can add multiple "desktop" views in edit mode to separate the lights designs for multiple room layouts.
Thanks

Re: UNIVERSES LIGHTING WINDOW DISPLAY
Hey,
Sorry, there is no such feature in Daslight 4, as this is a LIVE oriented software. Patch in Daslight 4 is meant to fit all fixtures used in your show so you can see them at all time.
Although you can rearrange your fixtures into seperate groups by drag-dropping them around in the fixture view. That's what was done with the fixtures you can see in the image you sent.
Hope this helps.
