Midi Problems

Post by mylaserpage »

Hello,

2 Little Problems...

Working in Live with some "Scene Buttons" : If i press one Button from a Group and there is an other one active and running
the running one is stopped and the pressed one is running...so far so good.

If i assign the Scenes to a Midi-Button (Note On Event ) the first Pressing activates the Event and the next one deactivate it.
But when i press an other Scene - assigned Midi Button the older one are not stopped. Assigning it to a Note on/off Event
means that i Need to hold down the Button if i want to Keep the Scene running.

In my Eyes there must be a Stop of running Scenes in a Group if a new one is started via Midi. Same as if i do it by Mouseclick.

I also dont find a Way to assign a Fader in the "Show" Tab to a Midi-Fader .

Also a wish from me ( not only from me :-) ) : A Masterspeed - Fader as Multiplieer of Time to Change Scene-Speeds

But all in one: Nice Software , most is done in the same way as i would realize it by myself . Because I Programm my own Lasershowsoftware i know how hard it is to match all Users Wishes :-)

Greetings
Guido

Hey,

In my Eyes there must be a Stop of running Scenes in a Group if a new one is started via Midi

This actually depends on the settings you fixed for the scene. Could oyu please send me your showfile for further tests ?

A Masterspeed - Fader as Multiplieer of Time to Change Scene-Speeds

Thanks for the advice. This is not in the picture for Daslight 4, but we already have it in our list of ideas for next versions.

Regards,
