Edit/Preferences/devices/+ Virtual device Bug

Post by Drmemory01 »

In Daslight 4 (Stable, 5/17) new hardware add can not be set for any ArtNET universe above 1 (ArtNET 0x0).
In Daslight 4 (Beta, 6/17) new hardware add can add any or all ArtNET universes defined in edit. Hardware devices will NOT save the tickmarks for "Use broadcast" or any of the "Active" tick marks on the used or unused ArtNET universes, which will force the dvc to use all universes allotted disabling all universe above 3 (0x2) and disabling the broadcast feature of any defined ArtNET device.
Is there a way around this?
And is there an issue with running four Daslight dvc Gold systems on the same VLAN. They are not interoperable and are stored on four separate PC systems with separate addresses, but they share the same VLAN. All configuartions are using ArtNET only.

The settings not being saved is a bug that the developers are looking into and will fix in a future Beta. However if you saying you have 4 PC’s and they’re all controlling all the art-net devices this is normal if you have ‘broadcast’ enabled as it’s broadcasting the DMX signal to all IP addresses.
