show use on different laptops

Hello,
I´m from Hamburg, new in this Forum and very new with daslight4.

Usualy I´m programming scenes on a macbook and I also use the Mac as the first machine on the stage. But I want to have a Windows Laptop beside, in case the mac crashes. Is it possible to use the show (programmed on the mac) also on the Win-PC or do I have to do all the work again for the Win-Version ??

Hey Michael,

The files work just fine on all versions of Daslight (Win or Mac). You shouldn't have any problem with that.

I reopen this post.
Has anyone tried the procedure? I have the reverse problem. I create show files on a desktop PC with windows 11, and transfer show files on windows 11 laptop, but it doesn't work anymore. Could I use them on a new Mac Book air M1? Can someone confirm that I can use the show files created with windows on Apple OS Monterey

Hello,

The software is exactly the same on Windows and MacOS. Show files can be saved and re-opened on both platforms regardless.
