fader start default value

Post by pixeljunky »

Hy Lightjockey's

Is there a way to set the faders in showmode to a default value, when programm starts ?
Is there a way that i can see the current value of the fader?

Greetings

Ok, Point 1 seems to work - but the value is not transferred to the "easy remote" app

Could you explain to me, how you set a default value for a fader in show mode? Don't get it.
Thanks

Hey,

I'm afraid there is no default value set for show mode controls. If some default values aren't correct in your software, the problem must come from the fixture's SSL file.

All values displayed in show mode controls should either be Scenes set values, or Live LTP values. Basically, any currently played values.

Hope this help.

Is there any option, to start some Scenes with the programm start?
for example: in my actual software i use a start value for my moving lights.
if i start the programm, they go to a position i programmed (middle position to the front e.g.)

can i realize this with dvc?
or is there an option to start some scenes with the programm starting?
thanks

Hi julianb,

I had neatly the same problem - if I switched a scene off the MH´s moved to its "zero position".
If I started the scene again the MH´s moved with open shutter etc. to the programmed position - looks very bad - not professional.
So I programmed a scene called "passiv state" (Ruheposition). I set all MH´s to a starting position pan/tilt (like your zero position).
First scene in my projekt. The scene setting for release: Off.
In live mode this scene is running permanently. In this case you can start additional scenes. With this workaround the MH´s have a short waypoint to the scene starting point.
Hope that helps - let me know

Hallo,
