"Show" Fader Limits

Post by BudF87 »

I was wondering if there was a way that a limit could be set in the "Show" mode fader configuration. I have a no label light that has a dimmer from 1-127 on a channel then goes to strobe from 128-255. It would be nice to be able to set the fader limit in the Show screen to stop at 127 so I can't accidentally fade my light into strobing.

Hi BudF87,

This is possible with an external MIDI controller.
1) In PALETTE, alt-click on the preset for the 0-127 dimmer range. This will create a button on the Show page.
2) Do the same for the fader. It will create a fader on the Show page.
3) In FADER or PALETTE, map the fader to a MIDI fader and disable "Full range triggering".
4) On the Show page, click on the button. The MIDI fader now stays within the dimmer range.

Hope this helps.
