It's a pity to say that the latest mac-version is almost unusable right now.

Since the update to Sierra, the software became very slow; eg. the scenes only triggered a second after a button was pushed (which made it almost unusable). After a reinstall this problem was gone, but some new bugs found their way:

Daslight completely crashes when:
- I open a file created with a previous version of daslight
- I wanted to patch new fixtures (when clicking the item in de fixture-list
- when opening a previous version of a file via the import-function.

So I decided to use the Windows-version on a virtual machine, but it seems that I cannot get the 3D-visualiser to work.

It is recommended to focus on these bugs instead of adding new features to the software. This is really disappointing.. The software worked before...

We're verry sorry to read that you're experiencing these problems, both on Mac and Windows. Please be sure that we are actively working on fixing all those crashes. For the little update, a new version will be available on the website any day soon.

For the crash happening when trying to patch fixtures or edit steps, please check if you have a software like Magnet, Flexiglass or Popclip (or alike). We've noticed that uninstalling those made our software work again. Of course, we're working on getting a proper fix for that, and will deliver as soon as possible.

not usable on mac. crashing when I try to add fixture. Tried the last version from 24/12/2016 and also the beta from 15/02/2017. Macbook pro with OS 10.10.3

edit: it was conflict with https://pqrs.org/osx/karabiner/

working good when removed karabiner. it is a software for changing keyboard keys
