Hello Daslight team,

trying to create a new show, Daslight crashes each time.
I am using the latest version from 11th April.

It seems like a known issue, that the latest version crashes after some minutes.

This may be, but the bug occurs when I go to "File" -> "New". Then Daslight crashes.

WOW i dont used dvc3 since a half year but last weekend it was my last interface on stock all other professional interfaces was on rental jobs. I want to use it for a own privat birtdayparty and yes ... Errors on starting New Shows, Errors while loading Shows, Errors while Midi Input, Errors while reseting Midi, Errors with ERA Server and Errors and Errors and Errors ... Bye DVC

I try to open saved shows and in beta and april version. Its impossible. It crashes nearly everytime. I need to restart computer few times and try and at some point it usually opens... It makes daslight useless at the the moment... Any fixes soon coming?

Here at my station there are no Problem with the actual beta.

I think there was a problem in older versions but actual it is all perfekt...

I start asking me, whether I should use Daslight anymore. The ideas of the software are great, but the problems seem to become even greater. But the worst is that no one of the Daslight team cares about the bugs and problems which are reported by the users.
It seems as if the end-user has to test the software.

My last show Daslight crashed 5 minutes before live.
Even a restart did not solve the problem.
Ended up doing the show manually, which is not ideal to say the least.

Basically I like this product but really we need realiability and stability.

I see the addition of crash reporting to the latest version. I hope all users use this but more importantly I hope Daslight responds a bit qucker. :roll:

The problem of Daslight crashing with startup is gone in my case, BUT now the BPM problem is back. At startup BPM is switched off and when I stwitch it on all BPM settings IN EVERY SCENE are gone!
I'm afraid I have to agree by now that the software is getting from bad to worse:
For every problem solved, another problem is back, or a new problem occurs.
Isn't it the case that a customer should rely on getting decent software when he buys an interface wich costs € 333,00?

I totally agree with you siebenjoost.

I've been using this software for a couple of years now and I've stopped updating to the newest releases. It is not reliable at all! I think that before any new features are added, the software needs to fixed at first. Make it reliable, make it work! That's all that we, the customer, demands at the moment! Please reply to this Daslight, make the software work, make your customers happy!

The saddest thing is that none of the team Daslight respond, I am increasingly convinced that these software have little reliability, a physical unit is the best solution, it is true the cost is high but at least it stops in the middle of a show.

I hope that in the coming days or other Simon Team fulfills all these mistakes and that will give us a more hopeful.

Oct 16th version, now crashes on selection of midi input.
