DPAD and iPad

I love Daslight‘s iPad solution, but I’m not sure, if it works with the DPAD.
I want to control all the lights in the room with Daslight. But sometimes our facility manager just want to turn the lights on without starting the computer. So I’m looking for the DPAD. Now I habe two questions:
1. Is the Software behind the DPAD Daslight 4? On Screenshots is Daslight 3 shown.
2. I cannot access the computer after start of the event, so I have to control over iPad after starting Daslight on the computer. Can I control the DPAD with the App over the computer, connected with USB to the DPAD?
