DVC4 GZM power Supply Network modus

Post by Horeischy »

Hi,

Since my DVC4 GZM lately has a loose contact and turns on the computer in the automatic mode I would like to provide the power supply with a DVC and only control it via the network.

My first question: is that even possible?
If it is possible, which power supply should I use for the USB?
What attitude do I have to make in the software and hardware?

Thank you for your help

Greetings Christoph

Hello

As you have a DVC4 GZM, it is entirely possible to used a USB plug adapter for powering the DVC4 GZM interface, the criteria being is that it is your country of residence main voltage input in, and then 5VDC out to the USB device. (as with all USB devices). You can then of course use the Ethernet port to connect the DVC4 GZM to a router, the same as your computer) and access the DVC4 GZM in the Daslight 4 software.

Kind Regards
