dvc2 gold not being recognised by program

Can anybody help me diagnose this fault please?

I have a new laptop running windows 7. I have installed the latest Daslight software from the Daslight website.

However no matter what checks and tricks I try to pull, all I get is "Interface not detected" error message.

USB cable is good and both red and yellow lamps are lit on the interface.

This is a SUIDI 5A model.

The DVC2 gold is not 64 bit compatible. You need to use a 32 bit version of Windows 7 or upgrade. Upgrade info can be found here:
