Yes, using multiple libraries is the best way. The other thing is that you will need to display each RGB lamp on the 3D (if used) so it is important to control them and show them separatly to show each lamps.

The DVC2 OLD interface does not manage the 16 bits in Stand Alone mode. Only the PC mode can do that and calculate the Fine Pan and Tilt in real time. Create a scene button with several steps. In Live mode, right click on the scene and choose a BPM option. Start the BPM calculator from the DVC2 Menus above the tool ribon. It is not possivble but the advise of Andre is interesting, you can setup a scene with shutter off and turn on the shutter with your effect button on. so the beam will stop when your effect is off. the scene will keep moving but without beam.

If you select the FX button in the tools bar you can select several fixtures from different page or familly. It is possible to create a scene the selected one.

Now DVC2 can use also MIDI command. you need that your control included some midi interfaces. We dont supply any midi interface (harwadre).
