Re: midiplus smartpad
You will need to send a specific velocity for the leds (Midi out). Here are the values 0 -> black/off 16 -> white 32 -> yellow 48 -> cyan 64 -> magenta 80 -> blue 96 ->green 112-> red Notes.. 1. The device offers limited colors as above 2. The firmware is buggy, if you need to go from one color to t...

Re: Daslight Improvements
I read Daslight 5 is supposed to come this summer - or at least a Beta version - but didnt see anything about os2l implementation , at least in the headlines.
Will this be a new feature in Daslight 5 ?

Re: Using two AKAI APC mini
Sorry to say this, but Daslight should handle multiple Midi devices and enumerate them not depending on their names/vid/pid but some kind of instance path or any other unique identification. Users are not programmers and you dont expect them to handle such cases, installing 3rd party software, re-pr...

Daslight Improvements
After using Daslight 4 for about 3-4 months i realized that the main issue is how MIDI devices are handled, because i think that the majority is using some DJ software as primary software, having DMx software running in the background, so controlling with a Hardware is essential. Here is what Daslig...

Re: Turn BPM On/Off shortcut
The problem is that those actions do not send feedback to turn off their leds if not enabled. So one MIDI Key is assigned to enable the BPM from MIDI and the other is assigned to enable the BPM from Audio. If i press and enable one of them, i expect to have the other turned off, but both remain ON, ...

Re: Turn BPM On/Off shortcut
Thanks a lot for the fix. Worked but have a minor issue if you could address too. When Daslight starts, the 2 buttons i mapped start with their LEDs off, even if one of them is enabled. If i hit those 2 buttons, their Leds turn on, but stay on even if their assigned action is disabled, which means t...

Re: 2 identical MIDI controllers
So that means that there could even be a conflict in case of 2 different MIDI devices, if some keys offer the same MIDI message, which kinda limits the options. I suppose your only chance here is to choose MIDI controllers that offer the ability to select a different MIDI Channel, but that's not the...

2 identical MIDI controllers
Hi, I have mapped my AKAI APC Mini to trigger my scenes, and already used the majority of the available buttons. I wonder if i end up with mapping all of them and need to add another identical unit (to have more buttons to map), will Daslight know from which MIDI device the Note (message) comes from...

Re: Turn BPM On/Off shortcut
I would appreciate if you could send me a Build with the fix, because the way i run my show its critical to have this working, instead of re-mapping on every session.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Turn BPM On/Off shortcut
That's too bad Anyways i found another workaround, but either there is a bug or doing something wrong. I try to assign the actions BPM from MIDI and BPM from Audio to 2 keyboard or MIDI keys. Both seem to work after mapping, but when i close Daslight and re-open, only one of the two is kept - i beli...

Turn BPM On/Off shortcut
Building a Show Page to use with Easy Remote and i miss a shortcut. I need a way to turn on/off the BPM from MIDI Clock So, i have created a Scene with a few steps, and i want to choose between triggering its steps via BPM (Step on BPM and Midi Clock from a DJ software) and manually via a Scene Spee...
