What does them do? The only thing I think I can use them for is to start a media file and maby a scene at the same time... Let me understand...

I have a question about the generator... I have worked alot with Awolites lightcontrollers and I bought Daslight because I needed a easy controller for smaller discos and installations.. BUT I dont understand the Generator.. For example if I do a Circle in the generator.. WHY should it generate step...
