Why don't the developers use a changelog like most other software packages out there? It would make things much easier for people wanting to see what's new... New features, bug fixes, etc? Problem is, if it wasn't used from the beginning it may be a losing proposition trying to change now... --remov...

SimonB and Bruno, I am a recent purchaser of the DasLight controller. I had compared the DasLight and SunLight products, as well as others. The evaluation had been unfortunately quick, but I had made my decision after seeing a possible glimmer of hope when several updates had been posted on DasLight...

How do I deal with a required DMX zero value?

Seems a stupid question, but my fixtures (Martin 518s) use the DMX value of 0 for an open gobo. DMX=1 starts gobo #1 rotating. When I select a scene that alters the gobo, the only way i can now see to drop back to an open gobo is to unselect anything which has altered the channel. Is there any hope?...

OK - so it happened again. Finally took the PC to a show with my current desk - I figured if I had a chance between setup and showtime that I would give it a ride with the lights live. Everything worked relatively well and as expected. Then... I again have no idea what I did, but the scenes worked w...

Left-click method of canceling LTP in live

Maybe a left double-click to return LTP setting to 'configured' value in live mode? It is now a little slower to disable this with a touch screen having to rely on right-clicking to change it. Maybe also flash it when it is changed from the configured value for the scene?

All of my problems were in editor mode. I have seen the LTP change from auto (I wish they would make it single left click or double click to reset to auto - pain changing it back with a touch screen) but my problem was right in the editor. I would set up the scene, all would look good, then when I w...

Faders show in scene edit, running scn some faders drop out

I can;t be sure if I mucked something up, but I have a few scenes with a handful of faders set. When I am in the editor mode, all is well. But, when I play the scene (or go to live and select the scene), some of the faders don't respond - they act as if I haven't selected anything. They will display...

I would expect...

I have not used more than 1 universe, but I would say yes - each device will need its own USB. Then, from the tools/interface menu you can edit whic DVC will be connected to which universe. As I said, though, I have not had the chance to actually try a different universe...

Edit color/image/label on channel faders

Especially useful for keeping track of good old PARs on dimmer packs... to be able to name the channel faders, color code them, or define your own icon...
