i bought some they wired it:

brown-1
green-2
orange-3

doesnt really matter i suppose as long as its the same on either end...

so for 3 pin XLR:

white/brown goes to pin 1
white/orange goes to pin 2
orange goes to pin 3

hey andre, thanks for the reply. Thats good news, gonna speak to the events manager about the converters...he told me yesterday that he put up something like 5 of them, and only 3 are used so woop woop!

yeah i get both problems but never really questioned it.

the second problem isnt so much of a pain as i can solve it really quickly with the click of a mouse, but the first is quite annoying as it means you need to re-peg the fixture channels to change them, then unpeg it again.

i get exactly the same problem so have never used the bpm with step mode.

would be nice to find out why this occurs and how to solve it.

i have to agree richard, i was given the daslight software from the church and told 'if you can make it work, well buy it'. And i set off. After 2 weeks of on/off playing (literally) i had sussed 70% of it out. then when it came to actually using it, i worked out another 20% of it. the other 10% is ...

jsut a quick question, if a piece of daslight software is altered/ammended, can the owners of the previous daslight get that 'new' software free? i.e. is it going to be downloadable? or will it be created as a new product?

Just a quick general lighting question linked to daslight. Ive heard a lot about DMX512 universes and most of it makes sense. DVC2 512 says it can hold up to 6 universes. how exactly would you connect this up? i.e. would you need 6 boxes connected to 6 USB ports? then how would daslight know through...

do you mean a T.V. screen? im not sure whether they have implimented any screens in, but you can create a matrix in the patch manager tab and use any led and then upload a video onto it, check it out on the daslight website under manual

oh i see, if its not connected to the box then it will say demo version! that makes sense!
