Color Mixing issue with FX generator.

Post by performance stage »

I'm trying to create a super slow color rotation between 2 colors. Perhaps a 10 minute slow roll- between 2 colors only....purple and gold.

In the FX generator, It seems the slowest color effect takes like 3 seconds. Too much strobing-type look. I'm looking for a color change that takes literally 10 minutes or so. Almost imperceptible.

So....any ideas? I'm using colorkey par64 LED's in 6 ch mode.

Can you extend the time intervals in the FX generator effects to exact times, or are you limited to the arbitrary "knobs" that say like 1,2,3, etc?

Thanks!!

Mike

easiest way i know of would be to either use the RGB options to manually color mix in the fx generator and submit your own time frame, or to program the fades directly in the edit window.

The best way would not be to use the effect generator and simply create 2 steps, 1 purple and 1 gold then set the fade time to 10 minutes
