OSC does not work

Post by juanmavillanueva »

Has anyone been able to get the OSC to work?
the program detects that it receives Input, you can mapping it but it doesn't execute the command.

Hey,

what exactly are you planning to do? What endpoints do you use?
OSC works fine for me with receiving and sending OSC.

Hello,
Basically activate a scene with touchosc, the signal arrives because the osc indicator is activated but does not activate the scene.

In version 5.0.3.1 the OSC seems to work perfectly.
As soon as I can, I'm going to program some things.
Remember to set the hardware to enable the communication ports.

I can't figure out to get feedback from the osc output in DL.
I use Bitfocus Companion with generic OSC connection. All ports are correctly set.
I can trigger scenes, but I can not seem to find the output commands...

I also use it through bit companion.
and I can't see the output osc, although the memory activation works perfectly.
I've just bought a chamsys controller anyway, as daslight is too short for some functions.

I found out that it repeats the same message back. This causes a lot of weird behavior. It would be nice to be able to set the on and off feedback the same way as with midi. To change the addresses and values for on, off and fade.

ma3 2k node is $2,000 usd (consumer price, dealer price is 1,200) you get 8 universes and split up as much as you want among artnet universes and the diversity has been tried and true by the professional industry as ma2 is industry standard here in the states. by the time you get 8 universes with das your paying the same amount. with various busking features, you can plug your same show file into any ma console without being constricted by your 2k node.

I myself have purchased a MA3 Light because I do this professionally and needed something limitless.

Still going to follow daslight because I have hope for daslight in future, but for now, not going to be my main console.
