Upload problem

Post by joe46 »

Hi all, i hope you can help with a problem.
i have two brand new DVC2 gold units and am getting the same problem.
they work fine in live mode when programming and testing.
but as soon as i try and upload a show i get.
Total steps = 0/-2
so -2 steps available. any ideas?

new firmware and using virtual controller 2

Many thanks

Joe

try opening the root directory of daslight and putting the file directly into the light projects folder. I think I once had this problem as the file had not been saved to the flash drive before. daslight didn't recognise the path.

was the show you are trying to up load created from a current program.?
ie the one that came with the new boxes.

an alternative to uploading the show, is to just import scenes from the top toolbar. you will then find the scenes in the current show, but a patch will need to be re-created in order to edit easily.

this will definately work. it seems like a compatability issue with an older version of the software.
