DVC FUN no DMX on Mac

Hi, i was installing a new DVC FUN dongle in a clients computer which is an iMac 2010 with High Sierra installed.

I couldn't get any fixture to respond. I then brought the new dongle to my home and it's working fine.

Could a corrupted MacOS or firewall settings prevent DVC FUN from outputting DMX? In DVC4 the dongle was recognised and everything seemed normal.
