I want to use Daslight 4 for live drma productions using single step scenes. I am building single step scenes with a fade time of three secs. I am not getting fade between scenes when on live. I am not seeing any options to activate the fade time that is set, so my scenes snap from one to the next. I can fade time between multiple steps but not for single step scenes. How can I get smooth fade between scenes?

Re: Fade time for single step scenes.
Hey,
There is an option for scene fade in/out features in the scene properties (see image below) :
Unlock fade feature with the switch (top red frame)
Set a fade-In value (bottom red frame)
Hope this helps.

Re: Fade time for single step scenes.
Help me! It don't work for me on Mac OS X/DASLight 4 on DVC FUN
Example:
Scene 1 (single step), Par64-1 intensity 100%, Par64-2 intensity 0%
Scene 2 (single step), Par64-1 intensity 0%, Par64-2 intensity 100%, fade time 2 seconds
but stepping from scene 1 to 2, run with no fade

Re: Fade time for single step scenes.
Hello -
I'm having similar trouble with scene fades. I believe the problem may have something to do the fade option on the generic rgb light - it seems to be missing! See attached screenshot.
Here's the setup of my repro case:
1. Add one generic rgb light
2. In group one, add two scenes, set the rgb to a different color in each scene. Set them to loop forever.
3. In both scenes, set a fade in time of one second (not the step fade in, the scene fade in!)
4. Enter live mode and play.
5. Notice that when you change from one scene to the next, the color change happens instantly, not over the expected one second fade time.
I tried to attach my repro file, but your forum didn't allow the file extension of dvc!
I hope you can help - I have a show in just two weeks.
Mike.

Hi Mike,
Please check if the fade option is selected in the LIVE panel.
It should work.
Hope this helps.
