live mode: independent waiting time?

Hello all,
I am new to Daslight 4 and installed the software for testing purposes. Until now I use an old school DMX hardware mixer. But I saw some tutorials of Daslight 4 on YouTube and there are some quite interesting advantages compared to my actual hardware solution So I am thinking to change to the Daslight solution incl. the DMX interface.
I do have some questions but to keep the overview, I will address them in different threads.
One very important thing I am missing on Daslight compared to my hardware mixer is the possibility to change the waiting time during the live show, without having any influence on the fading time. I am using LED lights and when I change their colours for example red to blue, a long fading time will result in a little rainbow effect. Fading times >0,3s do show unwanted effects on LED lights, when you change the colours.
I am using some scenes/chasers for different music and it looks great, but it is important to adjust the waiting time. On songs with fast beats it looks good with short waiting times, colours changing to the beat. And the same chaser does fit to a blues song when the waiting time is very long like 20s. Easy to adjust it on the fly with my DMX mixer, but I could not get it with Daslight: when I move the slider (the little one in live mode), it is changing the waiting time and the fading time together...
Would be helpfull, when an activated fade switch (the one in edit mode) would protect the fading time and is using the entered value always.
As I am doing the stage light for live bands in a small club, I mostly don't know the songs that will be played. That means, I need to be quit flexible.
Hope, there is a solution that I did not see until now and hope, I could express what I do mean good enough, as English is not my native language.
Kindest regards, Thomas
