help needed on jump function please

Hi
Having a problem with the jump to function. Have several scenes in a group with 30 steps each. Have them on loop twice and then jump to next scene. It seems to be hit and miss whether it works though. Most often it just stops after the first scene.
If I jump between groups though it seems OK so having to create the extra scenes in new groups for same fixtures. Is this normal and a limitation with the 128 version.
