Hi all
Getting on with this well and learning fast but have a basic question on hold times.
I use a sound input to trigger sound to light on fixtures. does it make any difference to the look of the lighting by extending the hold and fade time on each step as surely as soon as it picks up a beat it will jump to the next step anyway.
Thanks

That depends on the mode you have choosen:
-BPM on step: The fade and hold times will be ignored. Every "beat" triggers the next step.
-BPM with fade: Only the hold times will be ignored. Every "beat" triggers the next step, but the "fade" will be executed with the fade time which is set.
-BPM on scene: The fade and hold times will not be ignored. Every "beat" triggers the scene to start from the first step.
In case 2 and 3 you can use the speed slider to influence the fade and hold times and create very cool effects with it.
I hope this helps you.
