MIDI Akai APC20/40 and DVC3

Hello! I want to buy midi controller Akai APC20 (or 40) and to use all its buttons to start the scenes in DVC3, and also to use it feader for control of DMX levels. But I heard that this have strange mapping the buttons and it will be difficult to be adjusted for work with software. Whether truth it? Or its buttons are appointed in DVC3 software also easily, as well as other controlers? I don't need feedback from soft, just use buttons and faders. Does it real? Thanks.

i use the APC 40 and I must say it works good.
The only problems are the LEDs behind the buttens.
i hope that the Daslight Team can be patched it anytime.
