Help needed to run DVC3 128 in standalone mode

Post by Eleanor »

Hello

I am having trouble using the DVC3 128 in standalone mode.

I can programme the scenes ok on my laptop, but cannot transfer it to the DVC3 128. Each time it says that it does not recognise the interface and that the driver for this device is not installed.

I have tried re-installing it several times and also tried 3 different laptops:
Windows 7 (64 bit)
Windows XP
Mac with Parallels and Windows 7 (64 bit)

Does Windows 7 need to be 32 bit?
Is there a link to somewhere online where I can install the driver?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Eleanor

Hi Eleanor,

First can I just check you are using the latest version of Daslight (16 Mar 2015) and have the latest version of the firmware which can be updated using the HardwareManager found in the Daslight windows directory.

Your device should work with Windows 32 or 64 bit operating systems.

If your still having problems email me your serial number and I can investigate further.

Kind regards

Hi Benno

I have the latest software installed.

Please could you give me step by step instructions on how to update the firmware as I don't know how to do this.

When I plug in the USB device and open 'Devices and Printers', the USB DMX interface is there, but it says 'the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)'.

I will email you the serial number.

Thanks
Eleanor
