I assume you have set the fixtures to the correct dmx address that matches what you have patched in DVC2.
You might have to have a terminator on the last fixture.

You still have to set the address of each of the fixtures to match what you have set them to in DVC2 setup.
Check the manual for how to set the address.

To set the adress on the digital displays. Press the menu button, then go to where it say 'Addr' then press enter and use the up and down keys to set the number of the dmx adress needed.

hope that helps

1. Go to where you have patched the lights, then for example, the washes have 6 channels - so i have choosen number 1 then on the next one 7

eg

hope this helps and thanks to everyone for the help

don't forget to change the amount of channels on the im5 washes to 6 they have defaulted it to 5

You say the washes have six channels, from the manual I have found they have 7 channels. ( it is the same model just badged ).
http://prolight.co.uk/images/media/11/1 ... 01-um0.pdf
The channels are as follows
1 - Pan
2 - Tilt
3 - Shutter/Shaking
4 - No Function (Gobo on Spot version)
5 - Colour
6 - No Function
7 - Dimmer

So what you should be using is the im-5w fixture from the iSolution/IM folder when you are patching the fixtures.

When patching mutiple fixtures you just need to change the "count" to the number of fixtures you have it will put them in the right place in the patch and you can easily see the start address for each of these fixtures.
There is no need to patch each one individually.
Remember to set the address accordingly on the fixtures as well.
