How to make Scene change in time with music?

Post by giusfre »

Hi! I'm completely new of the forum and on the program itself!
I use the Virtual Controller II and I would like to know how (if it is possible) to make scenes change (lights swice or fade on-off or moving) perfectly in time with a specific music file, according with some specific moments in the song (intro, bridge, chorus or some specific rithmic accents)!
Please help me! I can't find any detailed tutorial or manual about this!
Thanking you in advance

Create your scenes with the steps need and what you want them to do on beat change, then on the Live page, right click your scene and select DPM on step. That should help you get on your way.
I am not sure, but I think you will need to have a sound source coming in the line in. Not sure if it will pick up from a playing MP3 or CD.
