My AKAI Professional APC mini does not work with DS5. It is not recognized under MIDI and I cannot assign Midi keys. In DS4 it works.

Also on a second PC it does not work.

What am I doing wrong? I use the newest Version of DS5

I am having the same issue. Did you find the solution?

The mini might have another mode that das 5 does not recognise as a midi device, I have three of them and they all three work just not at the same time, try downloading the driver from app website and reinstalling it

I agree, in the previous version AKAI APC MINI MK2 worked but after a while it didn't respond to commands (especially the feedback LEDs worked randomly) in this version of the D5 nothing works

We have tested the APC Mini mk2 thoroughly with Daslight 5 and we use it on most trade fairs we do with no noticeable issues- so I am interested to find out more about what you have been seeing!

Would you please be able to confirm some further information:

1) Are you using Mac or Windows?
2) What operating system version are you using?
3) Is your controller detected in the Daslight 5 Settings screen? If YES see 3a if NO see 4...
3a) In the Daslight settings screen, do you have the APC Mini mk2 settings enabled properly? (i.e. MIDI Input and MIDI Output enabled)
4) How are you connecting your controller to your computer? (i.e. direct USB input, via a MIDI bus, using a USB-A to USB-C converter, etc.)
5) Is you device being detected correctly by the computer itself, or is it only in Daslight that there is no detection?
6) Have you tried using any different USB cables, different USB ports, etc.
6) Was your controller detected in previous versions of the software? If so- any indication as to the particular version where there was no issue would be helpful (i.e. a software version number, a date you were using it with no issues, etc.)
7) Is there anything else in particular that was problematic with the MIDI controller, or is detection the main issue?
