DVC Gold not outputting on all XLR ports.

I am using the DVC Gold to output to 3 groups of fixtures. All of those fixtures use Universe 3, but are physically separated.

Even though every XLR port is set to output Universe 3, only the first two ports are actually sending data. Is this due to not having upgraded from the 1024 channels that comes with the box by default? From reading the stats sheet, my understanding was that the DVC Gold could output to all 4 XLR ports by default, but only using 2 universes (1024 channels).

If this isn't the case, and purchasing the upgrades simply enables the 3rd and 4th XLR port, it would be very helpful if the language on the site made this more clear.

I want to use the 2 extra xlr-out as a splitter for universe 1. But this is not possible.

Is it only possible to use them, when i pay for two extra universes? To expensive!!!
Or would it be possible to order an "splitter" option

Sorry for the late reply. To clarify :
- In LIVE mode, every universe output corresponds to 512 channels.
- In StandAlone mode, every DIFFERENT universe corresponds to 512 channels.
