Hello,
in Version 5.0.b1 I can't map faders from a fixture to a midi device.
The faders that are mapped in previous version works well. But when I want to map a new fader from a fixture to a midi device this isn't possible.

Stephan

In your video, when you select "Set MIDI Mappings", it looks like a purple squircle at the top of the faders become available to select - trying clicking on that, and then sending a MIDI input to Daslight

Yes, but these only activate or deactivate the function. But that didn't map the fader to a midi device.

Re: 5.0.b1 - Can't map MIDI faders
Just tried myself - not that it helps in your case, but looks like the faders are highlighted purple, and selectable on my machine (MacOS 12.6, Daslight 5.0.b1)
Re: 5.0.b1 - Can't map MIDI faders
I'm also able to right-click and add a MIDI shortcut
Re: 5.0.b1 - Can't map MIDI faders
Hello,
I found out what the problem was ... and it sounds very strange for me.
Everytime I installed a new version on my mac I deleted the D5 icon from the dock and installed the new version in a different folder like "Daslight5_5.0.a8", "Daslight5_5.0.a9", "Daslight5_5.0.b0" and so on.
Yesterday I tried again to map a fader from one fixture to one of my midi devices and it was still not possible.
So I closed D5, start it again and take a look of the starting screen what version of D5 is displayed.
And it was D5_5.0.a8
Then I deleted the icon from the dock again. Go to the application folder of version D5_5.0.b1 and place the icon in the dock again. But when I start D5 from this icon, the dsiplayed version was again 5.0.a8
So I deleted the icon from the dock and all installations of D5 from my mac. Make a new download of the 5.0.b1 again and installed it. Then I placed the icon at the dock and start D5. Now it's displayed the right version 5.0.b1 and also mapping a fader to a midi device was possible again.
Don't know what was happened here ...

Stephan
