Use in stand alone mode with USB power adaptator

Post by 84germain »

Hello everyone.

I decided myself to buy this product. I'm very happy with it: I can use it in stand alone mode with 16 adress mode :)

Now, I would like to power it in stand alone with the USB cable. This is allright when I connect on my computer without the software launched: I can activate a program by connecting a port to Vdd.

But when I use no more a computer but a power adaptator with USB connection (as for a mobile phone), the Vdd is no more 5V but only 1V, so my connection to any port is no longer possible.

I'd like to know if anyone has already tried to connect the daslight product with a USB power and if you succeed to choose a program by connecting the VDD to any port.

Thanks a lot for your information.

Hello François

This is probably a problem with the USB power adapter you are using.
