problems with easy vieuw

hi,
sorry for my englisch but i have a problem with my easy vieuw.
when i loaded my fixtures into easyvieuw... they come on screen but not my movitec 250 wl's.
Its weird becorse in the objectscreen they are there, not on the main screen .
is it possible to see them on screen please....
i have the newest version of daslight version 22 dec 2017

Hey,

This very much sounds like a SSL issue. The software doesn't get the info it needs to draw the right object.
Any chance you can edit it in ScanLibrary and try importing it again ?

thanks for your answer.
It seems that i can not open the ssl file into scanlibrary becourse i have not the permission.
What can i do to insert this file from daslight?

That is strange... Do you have admin rights on your computer ?
Could you try with these files, please ?

so i think its not the ssl file but its the update to 22 dec 2017

Hey TomHat,

these files are working with the older version.
What can i do for this? all my files do not working anymore in the older versions.
i'm a little bit angry now, i've brought this for working, not for all these errors.
its not good for the name Daslight.....when you put something on the market , you must be shure that its working.

Hey Rudy,

Which "older" version are you using ? I'm surprised to read your file now stopped working with older versions. This shouldn't be the case.
We do show a mesage when saving the first file with Daslight that says "the file will not be compatible with older versions" but that should only concern 1year old versions that are anyway not as stable.

hey TomHat,

the version that my ssl file works is this of 1 aug 2016.
Here gifs my ssl no errors and i can see the movinghead on easyvieuw working.
strange ....
in my new version 22 dec 2017 is it not working, the ssl file has errors.
the ssl file is that of the program library....

Hi Rudy,

I've just checked and cannot open the profile in the Scan Library editor either. It appears the fixture profile has become corrupt in our profile library somehow.

My advise would be to copy the fixture profile from the old Scan Library folder (16.08.16) into the new Scan Library folder (22.12.17) or use the import function in Daslight 4.

When the fixture is patched into the 3D in the latest version it appears very small because the scale is set to 0.1 x. If you change the scale to 1.0x for X, Y & Z you will see the fixture okay.

I think the profile still may contain errors so I would however suggest making a profile repair request so the profile team can take a look.

To make a request to repair fixture profile:
- Log on to the customer area store.daslight.com/ssl
- Search for the required fixture profile
- Click the red ‘Report’ button to the right of your fixture profile in the results list.
- Follow the instructions and do not forget to attach the technical documentation of the fixture.

Please note : if you do not have an account you will need to create one to submit a request.
