Smoke machine

I'm having a problem with the DVC fun and a smoke machine (Ayra WSM02 MKIII 1200 Watt DMX).
The smoke machine works fine when using the remote that comes with it, but as soon as I plug in the DMX cable the remote no longer works and any command coming from DMX also fails. As soon as I unplug the DMX cable from the smoke machine it executes the last setting given from Daslight and the remote starts working again.

Does anybody have any idea why the smoke machine doesn't work with Daslight?
If any additional details are required, please let me know.
Would love it if this gets fixed.

I'm having the exact same problem with the DVC4 Gold and an Ayra WSM 01 MKIII. I'm running the 2022-03-01 version of Daslight, which is the latest stable version at the moment.

The Ayra's LED for DMX turns on when I connect the DMX cables so it receives a DMX signal, but the command from Daslight never arrives. The smoke machine does absolutely nothing.
I triple checked the DMX address, no mistake there.

I read in the manual the Ayra is to be connected with standard XLR cables. I use DMX XLR cables of course and not standard XLR cables. Could that be the problem?

If you check the DMX levels window (from the Tools menu), do you see the correct DMX values for your Smoke Machine ?

It turns out the smoke machine MUST be set to channel 1...
