Sub Masters

Post by rdomke »

Hi I am new to using Daslight, and was wondering if there was any way to set submasters such as houselights, or different colored led settings so I can turn multiples on without a problem.

Basically I just want to be able to group channels together.

There are no submasters in DVC2.

What you could do is create a scene that controls all the fixtures in the way that you want and then for a bit more flexability you turn the "Speed ON" on (right click the scene button in LIVE) and then you will have a slider that will control the speed of that scene running. I use this for adjustable fade up and down times and for getting the speed of chases to run at near enough the correct beat, yes I know I should use the Audio Analysis program and do at some venues but quite often I cannot get a feed from the desk to my laptop.

Or you could create multiple scenes for each type of fixture you want to use in their own groups and then assign the same keyboard shortcut key to each of those scenes to trigger them all at one.

You can have multiple keyboard shortcuts for the same scenes if needed.
