Hi,

The 3D visualizer is barely usable for a professional event.
The 3D window flickers, even in low resolution mode.
Parameters are not saved when the 3D app is closed (language, resolution mode, fixtures positions, ...).
The 3D settings should be saved with the main Daslight show file. It's not convenient to load 2 files for each show.
Some screen labels are displayed in a wrong language.

Have a look to the visualizer included in ChamSys MagicQ. It gives a lot more performances and features !
It's one good reference.

For me, and I guess for other users too, the present 3D visualizer is simply bad.

I'm not angry, I don't criticize, but I'm really surprised that hardware interfaces are sold while software is still unfinished.

Hi Pol, thanks for the feedback. As mentioned the other day the 3D visualiser software is currently being worked on and we plan to have another Beta out over the next few months with improvements. I'm currently looking at any bugs and suggestions reported on the forum so the developers can fix these for future releases.

I can't reproduce any flickering, does this happen when you have a lot of fixtures patched and you get a slight jerk with moving effects? Can you take a look at the bottom of the Easy View window and tell me if the FPX drops when this happens?

The language will be saved in the next Beta, I've made a note to the developers regarding saving the Rendering quality settings not being saved. Fixture postions get saved in the Easy View file.

They are two different bits of software so this is why there are two different files.This is the way it works as Easy View is used in our other software as well.

Some screen labels are displayed in a wrong language.

Some text still needs to be updated in different languages.
