Hi jimshy7687, thanks for the post. Enabling shadow in the older version of the 3D viewer can reduce computer performance. My advise would be to turn the shadow off when using the software. Kind regards.

Hi jimshy7687, the 3D visualiser is a free tool included with the software to help light programmers preview their show and is not designed to be a presentation tool. You might want to check out the new and improved version of the 3D visualiser included with the new Daslight 4 with better quality visualisation.

Also if you need to use 3D software as a professional presentation tool you might want to look at wysiwyg or capture.

This is old generation software that is no longer being developed. We are not aware that we have made any changes to the software regarding the shadows. Do you have any idea when the software started slowing down? We could try and dig around in the archives and find you an old build.
