Grouping Fixtures together

Post by GaryUK »

I have a version of DVC1 which says "Aug 9 2006" on the splash screen.

I have 4 moving heads connected each with 15 channels, sitting on channels 1 to 60.

I can go into the Group configuration window and select all sorts of groups for the fixtures, but fixture 1 seems to keep getting ignored by the grouping.

For example: In the group configuration, I put a tick under "F1" for all for fixtures. I close the group configuration window, hold F1, change a slider and fixtures 2,3 & 4 reflect that change, but fixture 1 just sits there, unaffected.

Any ideas?

Well, as an update, I downloaded the latest version of VC1 - which shows up as June 2011 on the splash screen.

However the grouping issue still shows up.

With 4 fixtures grouped together on F1 key, if I hold down
F1 and slide the dimmer channel down, then fixtures 2,3 & 4 dim down together, but fixture 1 remains unchanged. If I let go of F1 and move the dimmer slider for fixture 1 it dims accordingly.

Any thoughts?

try a fresh patch, and import your scenes, this works with DVC2.
