matrix configurator on DVC1

Hello,
I'm trying to use matrix configurator in DVC1 but without sucess.
When i add an item, the box message with DMX start adress, stop adress appears. (logical request) but , to bottom i see that there is possibility to choose matrice option ( with line and column) but on my pc, the option stay in grey.
Impossible to activate it?
I would like to control 2 MAtRIX blinder panel (5x5 monochromatic lamps)
Is there a special procedure to activate this option?
