Multiple types of fixtures

Post by XSV »

I am having a problem and am trying to figure out the easiest work around for it.

Scenario...

Suppose I have 2 types of fixtures, say some moving spots and some moving washes. Is there a way to group them together so when I generate an effect it doesn't just affect one type of fixture?

Example...

I built an effect today, and when I wnet to apply it to the fixtures it would only affect one type. so instead of all of my lights flashing on my spots were.

Any help with this would be awesome! Thanks!

yes you can, is the answer, if you select the fx function icon on the top ribbon you can now select which fixtures to create the effect for.

This is not the Fx on the bottom left of the group box.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give this a test when I get to work in a couple of hours.
