Fixtures come on when closing Daslight

We are having an odd issue on a new installation where a number of fixtures come on when closing the Daslight software.
The fixtures are plugged into ADJ dimmer packs which were previously controlled by a hardware controller. We reconnected the hardware controller and made sure everything was off before shutting it down. When we reconnect to the Daslight system and USB DMX controller...everything is fine again until we shut down...then those fixtures come back on again.
Any thoughts?
