MIDI not working after restart DVC2

I'm using a BCF2000 to control a basic scanner / LED setup.
However I can't get DVC to rember the MIDI linking.
If I create a new project. Assign and patch my scans and link the midifaders to the DVC faders it works as expexted.

But if I then restart DVC the DVC controls no longer react to the MIDI signals.

The midi settings still show the correct Midi value. But nothing happens when changing the BCF faders.

So only when creating a new project within the same session works. Next time a want to use the project it no longer works.

I'm using the latest DVC2 version (14/02/12)

You must have a fixture selected for the MIDI control to work. Once you close and restart your show the fixture selection is cleared and the MIDI will not work until you re-select your fixtures

After restart of the DVC, I have set all Fixtures to active, so they turn orange.
That is what you mean with your comment I suspect?

That does not do the trick for me.
