DVC1/2/3 on mac with parallels

Post by ljudkillen »

Hi

i use macs for all my work and sometimes Paralells with a XP installation. i manage to get every software to work and almost always with external hardware like audio processors, dmxstuff, and various dongles thru network or usb/serial.
I can run DVC1 but DVC2 or 3 beta won't start. I can use tools.
I also have used some other software for DMX from other companies (thou they look the same as Daslight)

Any Idea why it doesn't start?

If I have the window open when I try to start the DVC2/3 can I see how it starts but quits after just e second.

Use bootcamp. We don't design our software to work on parallels.

Strange since I have never heard of a software that doesn't work under parallels.

Using on a Mac

Hi

I have it setup a backup system on my Macbook Pro running Parallels 7 and Windows 7. You just have to select the interface to run in Windows and not OSX.

All other features are the same.

I have no problem getting the interface o work, it is the app that doesn't start.
I am running parallels 6, maybe thats why?

I'll give 7 a try...

Parallels 7 didn't solve it. Nicolaudies ( www.nicolaudie.com ) software is there no problem with.

I'll have to use there's instead...
