DVC2 128 M working with other Interfaces?

Hi there,

I`m working with a DVC2 512 ECO Interface at this time, but it haven`t got enough Chanels. So I want control the second Universe with a 128 M Interface (I havent got so much Money for something like one more 512 :oops:

)

So does it work with NO limits??? ... like a 512 Interface in single configuration?

Theoretically it should work fine, but I will need to have someone test this first. A better idea would be for you to upgrade to a DVC2 gold. The price is 299€/$379. It is slightly more expensive than buying a 128-m but you will have several advantages:
-2 universes from 1 box
-Stand alone memory to store backup scenes
-64 bit compatible (I am guessing you have an older generation DVC2 512 which is not)
-Will be compatible with DVC3 when it is released this autumn

do I realy understand I can use the same box, cause it`s only a firmwareupgrade?

No, you will need to return the box and upgrade it
