Do we really have DVC2 128-M?

Post by peregrine »

A friend recently purchased a used Daslight interface. We were told that the device supported DVC1 and not DVC2. We tried starting the DVC2 software and the splash screen says that the device is a DVC2 128-M.

Is this true then? If the screen says it is DVC2 128-M, does that mean it really is? Or is it possible we have a DVC1 only product that is incorrectly recognized as DVC2 128-M by the DVC2 software?

We ask because we'd really like to use DVC2, if that is what we really purchased.

We are running on 64 bit Windows Vista and have gotten the device to work correctly with DVC1, but it looks like DVC2 isn't working correctly. We think it might be a 64 bit driver problem, but we want to check with the version of our interface first.

Thanks.

The DVC2-128M is 64 bit compatible. It should say the version on a white sticker on the underside of the circuit board. If not, connect your interface to the computer, close DVC2, open tools.exe and PM me the serial number.
