Multiple port/scene triggers

Post by simonmitch »

Forgive me if I have misunderstood, but my understanding of DMX and DMX controllers means that multiple scenes can be triggered in the same universe as long as the addresses of the devices in each scene are different.

So if I trigger a scene that ramps channel 1 up and down over 10 seconds, I can then trigger another that ramps channel 3 up and down half way though that also takes 10 seconds, thus over lapping the two ramps in way I desire?

I may have some tick box or setting set incorrectly in the software but as it stands when I trigger another scene it just cuts my other channel to zero and starts the current scene?

FIRMWARE:1.11
Product Code: 201 SIUDI-9 (128)
SOFTWARE DATE: DVC3 128 July 27 2012
Windows 7

Please help................................

Thanks in anticipation

Hello

Check that you have the correct 'Release Mode' set in the software. It needs to be set to OFF or GROUP
