Is your interface detected from tools.exe?
Which version of the firmware did you try to update to?

Make sure you are upgrading with the tools version included with your DVC2 installation. For example a firmware from a July release may not work with a december release.

Make sure tools is closed when you open DVC2 as only 1 application can access your interface at a time

I am assuming you are using the latest version from the website

That's very old and I didn't realise the link was still on the manuals. Use the tools.exe application included with your version of DVC2. It can be found in the root directory and windows start menu

So now I have installed DVC2 from the CD and run the Tools.exe, the program tells me that there id no need for firmware upgrade, and when I run the test I can see the leds har flashing, but nothing happens. If I try to run Virtual Controller 2 the program run in demo mode, it can´t find the DMX controller :(

Install the latest DVC2 14th Feb version from the website
Open the Hardware Configuration-tools application included with this version
Update the firmware
Test by moving the fader on the test tab
Close the Hardware Configuration and open DVC2 14th Feb

Is your interface detected by the hardware configuration application?
Do you have a DMX output from the hardware configuration application?
